PupSteps Size Guide

Our PupSteps are designed with small dogs in mind, offering the solution for pets who tend to damage their backs, hips, or joints when attempting to jump off elevated surfaces. Here’s a detailed look at their size and functionality:

Dimensions:

• Height: 45 cm
• Length: 60 cm
• Width: 50 cm
• Each step is spaced 15 cm apart vertically, with a step depth of 20 cm between each.

Ideal for Small Breeds:

PupSteps were specifically created for small breeds, such as Dachshunds, Terriers, and other dogs with shorter legs. The height and spacing of each step are carefully designed to reduce the risk of injury by providing easy access to couches, beds, or other elevated areas.

Weight Capacity and Usage:

While PupSteps were primarily designed for smaller dogs, the high-density foam construction can support dogs up to 35 kg. However, as they are tailored for small breeds, we recommend using them mainly for pets that fall within this category. Larger dogs may not experience the same long-term durability, and using the steps with heavier breeds may not be covered under our warranty.

Best Use:

For best results and longevity, we recommend using PupSteps for small breeds to aid or prevent future injuries. 

Manufacturing Time:

We typically ask for 7-14 working days to manufacture your dog bed, step, or spare cover. While we try to keep popular items in stock, there are times when we need to make your order from scratch.

For urgent requests, please contact us directly to discuss what we can do within the time frame you need.

Holiday Closure Notice:

Please note that our factory will be closed from 20th December to 13th January. Orders placed during this time will only start manufacturing once we reopen on 13th January. 

Possible Delays:

If we encounter stock shortages (e.g., fabric running out), delivery times may be extended up to 21 working days. We’ll always keep you informed of any delays.

Dispatch and Delivery:

Once your order has been manufactured and collected from our factory, delivery times depend on your location:

• Cape Town: Delivery takes 12-24 hours after dispatch.
• Outer Regions: Delivery can take up to 72 hours or 3 business days.

Pre-Order Policy

Here’s what to expect when placing a pre-order:

Manufacturing and Lead Times:

• Our pre-order items are in high demand and require extended lead times due to increased order volumes and larger quantities being manufactured. We currently estimate that pre-orders will be delivered between 18th - 23rd December.

Please note: While we strive to meet these timeframes, there is a possibility of delays due to the nature of pre-order production and supply chain variables.

Why production times fluctuate:

• At PupSak, we are committed to environmentally conscious manufacturing, using upcycled fabric sourced from local furniture company offcuts. When order volumes increase, additional time is needed to source these materials, which allows us to maintain our sustainable practices.

Need your order sooner?

• If you require your dog bed, step, or cover sooner than the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us directly. We can discuss potential solutions, such as offering alternate options or products we currently have in stock.
